1:1 Training FAQs
Is 1:1 training right for my dog if they struggle in group classes?
Absolutely. For dogs who find groups overwhelming or distracting, 1:1 sessions provide a safe, calm space to learn at their own pace without added pressure, helping them build confidence before considering group environments.
Where do the sessions take place and how long do they last?
Sessions typically take place at Ewelme Down Farm, OX10 6PQ in our focused training paddock. Each session lasts approximately 50–60 minutes, carefully timed to keep your dog engaged and motivated without causing fatigue.
Can I mix 1:1 training with my current group classes?
Yes! Many clients find that 1:1 support allows them to focus on specific skills or foundational work that they can then practice and refine within a group class setting. We can help you find the right balance for your dog's progress.
What happens after my training package ends?
We don't just leave you there! After your package, we’ll discuss your next steps, whether that’s moving into a group class, booking occasional top-up sessions.
Behavioural Support
If your dog is struggling with more complex behavioural issues such as reactivity, anxiety or aggression, Jennie & Charley also offer specialised support through their dedicated behavioural consultancy.
