Field & Focus
Our 6 week introduction to Pet Gundog Training helps you channel your dogs natural instincts into calm, focused training. You’ll build strong foundations in recall, steadiness, lead manners, and retrieving - while strengthening your partnership through positive, reward-based methods.
Ideal for:
Working breeds in pet homes, ages 12 months+.
Level 2
Retrieve & Respond.
Build on your foundations with more advanced steadiness, reliable whistle work, improved retrieves, and greater control around distractions. This course develops consistency, confidence and teamwork as your dog's skills progress. We start introducing obstacles & retrieves on the farm.
Dogs that have completed Level 1 or have basics down and need to strengthen reliability under distractions.
Ideal for:
Level 3
Precision & Partnership
Designed for those who have completed our previous Gundog courses or those who already have a strong foundation in place. This course focuses on precision, complex retrieves, and advanced steadiness. ideal for those looking to refine performance and achieve a high level of partnership and reliability.

Ideal for dogs and handlers ready to progress beyond foundations with marker word, steadiness, whistle training and basic retrieves already in place.
Meet Your Pet Gundog Trainers
Jennie Shaw leads our Gundog program with over a decade of experience in dog behaviour and obedience. Jennie’s warm, approachable style helps owners feel at ease, ensuring every class is as supportive as it is productive.
Assistant trainer, Carolanne has worked alongside Jennie for many years, and together they make a fantastic team. Carol is there to support Jennie and everyone in class, making sure each dog and owner gets plenty of help, guidance and encouragement.
